What attracts many unique people? Might be the various attractions available or the endless beaches. From the beginning of the city, it included a diverse community. To understand the inclusivity, you need to understand from where it flourished. It started as the home of Chumash and Tongva Native American tribes, they were the original owners of the land. Later in Mexico, on September 4, 1781, many native people traveled more than a thousand-mile desert and landed in modern-day Los Angeles. They then named it, “El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles de Porciúncula”. That translates to The Town of Our Women, the Queen of the Angeles from Porciuncula. This laid the foundation for the City of the Angels. The town went under the influence of Spanish, Mexicans, and lastly Americans. You can tell by the unique style of the structures that the Spanish architecture is what the modern city is laid on. A museum is built in memory of the beginning of the city. It explains the cultural diversity in how the city was built. All Native American, African American, Spanish, Anglo, Mexican, Chinese, Italian, and French cultures were what made Los Angeles what it is today.

As a symbol, an official flag was created in 1931. The red represents the vineyards that gracefully fill California. While the yellow represents the orange groves, the green represents the olive trees that are spread out. The colors were adapted from Spain’s and Mexico’s flags to incorporate their background. As a celebration of their 150th birthday, the flag is named, the “Fiesta flag” because of the party of the establishment.

Nevertheless, you will find something to do on the west coast. To begin, Los Angeles is great at entertaining. The city is built off of the entertainment business, such as acting, producers, singing, and artists. The sick rush pushed lots of people to the west. The boom was in hopes of healthy weather and opportunities. When the San Fransico railroad was built, many people jumped on the train not willing to lose the opportunity. The town then became a city, and the rest is history.
The reasons you come to Los Angeles might be the same as the founders came. Nevertheless, everyone can enjoy the warm heat, and busy city.
