To begin, the adventure you can take a flight to the famous airport, LAX, where you might spot a celebrity. Or you can simply drive from your location to the city. The average price for a plane is around $550 while driving is around $150. You might need to consider the weather for your packing. From January to May, you would need a heavy sweater or light coat. From June to October consider bringing airy and thin clothing. November and December will be cold so bring your snow clothing. (don’t expect snow)

For housing, you can stay in the famous Chateau Marmont for a more luxurious stay, but the price is an arm and a leg. For a more reasonable price, you can go to a chain hotel such as Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, or La Quinta. Traveling with chain hotels is the best option because eventually, your credits will add up for a free night or two. With my experience, Hampton Inn is the most reliable and trustworthy. They have various prices from $50 a night to $300 a night (some packages include breakfast).

Next, eating can be spontaneous on your part. I recommend trying Museo and Frank Grill, it’s known for being Hollywood’s oldest restaurant. Various scenes were filmed there. (Cost: $$$ ) Following would be Spago of Beverly Hills, a luxury restaurant, you might just be sitting next to the next big CEO. Lots of business deals were talked about here, as well as their outstanding food keeps them coming back. (Cost: $$$$) My personal favorite would have to be the Central Market. Just like LAS background, it includes lots of different tastes. The European background brings some of the best bakeries, markets, and restaurants. The lines might be long but worth it. (Cost:$$ ) Advice to save money would be to buy food such as sandwiches, soups, and fruits at a grocery store (whole foods) and only splurge on dinner.

The part we have been waiting for, the adventures. Why else would you want to come? To begin there are lots of famous museums including The Broad. Spending an afternoon looking at famous art might just be what you need after a beach day. The west coast is known for its beaches. You can lay out in the sun, watch surfers, spot wildlife, and swim out into the Pacific Ocean. Venice Beach has all the thrill from street artists, performers, and new singers. While on the other hand, Santa Monica Beach is calm and a few minutes from its central shopping mall. Not only is the beach famous for its views but also the pier. Roller coasters fill it up, with some food trucks. It’s the best way to spend the day. Following the beaches is Disneyland. For all kids, it’s a wonder. Might be pricey but you won’t regret it. It’s on the outskirts of Los Angeles in a city named, Anaheim, approx. 60 minutes away.

Are you convinced yet? Well, here I provided you with the very itinerary I used on my first trip to Los Angeles.

Day One:
Arrival date- (I would recommend arriving a day before to ensure rest)
Events: Drive down to Santa Monica beach and pier, and enjoy a nice breakfast brunch, or lunch next to the waves.
Go shopping in Santa Monica Square.
See the sunset at the Griffith Observatory (includes the Hollywood sign, make sure to arrive early because parking gets filled up early. I would recommend being dropped off there.)
Day Two:
Spend a day in Universal Studios or Walt Disney World. (Prices can range from $200 each to $1,000)
Day Three:
Take a scenery drive through Beverly Hills, and step foot on the grove. Don’t forget to include the Hollywood stars.
Scenic tours can be found on Tripadvisor.
Day Four:
Drive down the coast to San Diego or up towards Malibu. I recommend going to San Diego because the beaches and breeze are nice year around. San Diego offers some of the nicest views.
